What is Nuclear Medicine?

Nuclear Medicine is a branch of medical imaging that uses small amounts of radioactive material called radiopharmaceutical / radiosotope to diagnose or treat a variety of disease including many types of cancer, heart disease and other abnormalities within the body.

3. Therapy

  • Radioactive Iodine I-131 therapy for well differentiated thyroid cancer and thyroid diseases.
