Dr. Tan begun his journey with Perpetual Succour Hospital as a post graduate intern (PGI).  The warmth extended by the PSH family prompted him to apply and finish his Residency Training in Internal Medicine in the the Hospital.  He then went on to train in Nuclear Medicine at the Philippine Heart Center and at the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute.  His further studies were made through Distance Assisted Training under the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).  He currently sits as the Section Head of Nuclear Medicine at PSH and at Xavier Maria Reyna University Hospital, also co-owned and managed by the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres.  He fervently prays that in his little ways, he will continually be used as an instrument to touch other people’s lives.
